How to use new Indian Rupee symbol in documents

we know you are aware that India has joined the elite club of nations whose currency has their own symbol. Now Rupee has a symbol of its own! But how to use it on PC? It's really very simple. Download the font from Pinaak.org and follow these instructions:
  • Download the PINAAK_INR_SYMBOL.ttf
  • Copy the font and paste it in "Fonts" folder in Control Panel.
  • Open any Microsoft Office application (For E.g., Microsoft Office Word,Excel).
  • Select the font type as PINAAK_INR_SYMBOL.
Now all you need to do is to type "1", "2", "3", "4" or "5"... to get the Rupee symbol with different font style. Choose as you wish

(Since government has not yet decided the benchmark of the font and Unicode adoption is still pending, we can use this font as an alternative. Even after the availability of Unicode font, this font can be used.)
